LeRoy Morgan Letter - dated 15 May 1989:

From LeRoy Morgan, Conger, Mn.

I Joined the Company after the war. I landad in LeHarve, France two days before the war was over. We were in a large tent, in bed, when all the horns on the ships began honking. We knew then that the war was over. There wasn't a pillow left in the tent. We were all replacements and were to go to the front the next day. I don't really remember but anyway, I was a guard for the Nurenberg trial, we disarmed civilians, guarded DP camps and other places. I was overseas for 16 months.

----- LeRoy Morgan
